Cabin stewards, waiters, food, trips were excellent. BUT spoiled by the constant barrage of hard sell to buy extras, which starts immediately after checking in. We are quite experienced cruisers being on several different cruise lines, but will not be travelling with MSC again. Overcharged on several occasions, complicated drinks package, running the smokers gauntlet to go to the buffet, formal (gala) nights almost none existent. Life belt drill, although an interruption, it’s necessary, on this occasion was a waste of time. The downsides sound trivial until experienced.
