Family holiday

Our 7 day cruise to Norway from Tilbury Docks was extremely good value, an adult only cruise. Our big cabin was an outside with a large picture window and a king size bed that was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a large shower. There are no frills but that is reflected in the price. There is no fridge in the cabin, no added toiletries apart from wall shower soap and hand basin soap, no pillow chocs at night, no free cabin service after 10.00am. BUT the ship is spotless, beds turned down every night with a towel animal on the bed, towels changed twice daily, bedding changed daily, the food was very good, 5 courses at the evening meal, with a good choice for everyone, the staff very friendly and attentive. The shows were very good and lively. An all day and all evening entertainment programme. A very spacious ship with plenty of seating in the public areas. We were surprised that at breakfast in the dining rooms it was buffet but juice, tea, coffee were waiter service. The buffet dining on the top deck contained a very good choice and was constantly replenished and tidied. Tea and coffee is available to make 24 hours on top deck.
