Rock the Boat 2017 was our first venture into the world of cruising and we weren’t disappointed. The 7 days on CMV Magellan were packed with entertainment whilst still finding time for sightseeing at the various ports throughout the UK and Ireland.
Headline acts including The Manfreds, The Troggs, The Animals and Friends, Slade, Big Country, From the Jam and Suzie Quatro performed on the main stage twice a night whilst in the bars there were Rod Stewart and Bon Jovi tribute acts as well as other entertainment.
The ship slowly cruised from Newcastle visiting Aberdeen, Isle of Skye, Liverpool, Dublin and Invergordon allowing time to see explore the towns and cities.
The cabin was big enough and comfortable, embarkation and disembarkation were straightforward and the staff were great.
The food was fantastic quality and well presented.
Best of all, the entertainment was spectacular and we’d certainly think about booking again if something similar was in the UK.
