Go up one of the little historic yards in Darlington and you will come across a delightful little Tea Shop that specialises in home made cakes, scones and biscuits.
The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. She has numerous loose leaf teas and coffees to choose from and a slice of one of her home made cakes is a must. I like the lemon drizzle but there a few to choose from, many made from seasonal fruits.
A lovely place to sit in to while away an hour, there’s no rushing about in here.
