Reasons for trip

Relaxation

This was the second time my husband and I have stayed at Mother Ivey's Bay. The Caravan site also has some Touring pitches (caravan, motor-home and tent pitches). It is set close to the cliff edge in it's own clean, well maintained private grounds, ideal for walkers. It has it's own private sandy beach and easy access to coastal paths. The scenery is breath-taking. They have a small reception where nothing is to much trouble, a small shop for basic items ie groceries, newspappers ect. For tourers they have a Laundrette, shower and dish-washer facilities all emaculate as are the caravans for hire. and Wi Fi is available. We stayed in one of their superior range of luxuriously appointed modern caravan's (varying in size and price to suit your needs) fitted to Rose Award standard, which was spotless with every thing you would need for an enjoyable comfortable stay. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead while on site. Mother Ivey's Bay is perfect to explore Cornwall, being close to Padstow where you can visit Rick Stein's Restaurant and see where Doc Martin is filmed. Our holiday to Mother Ivey's Bay will be one we will remember and cherish. An Idyllic place to come back to, again and again.
