With great food and very friendly staff, this cafe restaurant is perfect for a visit for all ages.
There are tables on 2 floors, although I haven’t been downstairs myself due to mobility problems, but upstairs at street level, there are plenty of tables you can sit and watch the world go by.
There is Disabled Toilet facilities available and everything is lovely and clean.
The coffee is always steaming hot, in full mugs, and they will happily refill a teapot if you just want to linger.
Food-wise, I haven’t got through the entire menu yet (still got a reason to go back) but everyone should at least try the Tapas. The tiny plates can be ordered individually, or in a set of 3 (with a free glass on wine on a Tuesday) and are extremely tasty little morsels. Make it a snack, a lunch, or even dinner!
During the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions are certainly gone the extra mile – Track & Trace, Sanitising Stations, removing tables for more space, sanitising everything (including the backs of the chairs), wearing masks and keeping their distance.
You can order and pay from their App, at the table, but for those of us not as au fait with technology, the very pleasant staff are always happy to take your order directly.
Highly recommended! A place to feel safe while enjoying a bit of ‘normality’.
