Mold still has the largest and best surviving street market in North Wales. Mind you, it doesn’t have a lot of competition now….
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, High Street is full of market stalls. As well as the usual range of clothes and household stalls, what makes this market special are the food stalls. There is an excellent butcher cum delicatessen. There is a speciality baker and also a Lebanese baker as well as a good green grocer. It is worth visiting for these!
There are even a few additional stalls off Earl Road behind the David Owen centre, which has a daily indoor market.
