A stunning hotel in a great situation, close to Tower Hill underground station. It has underground parking for a limited number of vehicles for which we paid £20 for 24 hours. The entrance to the hotel is huge with a coffee bar, lots of seating ( not very comfortable though!) and free newspapers to read. The staff are very polite and helpful. We had room 929 which although was well appointed I expected it to be a bit more luxurious than it was. The bed was a bit hard. There was an apple mac computer and apple tv/dvd player. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the shower was wonderful.

This hotel has a skyline lounge which has amazing views over the city and there are also two outside roof terraces to take a drink out onto. We went to the skyline bar at 11 o clock in the evening. It was so crowded and noisy we couldnt get served so we gave up and went downstairs for a coffee instead! After an uncomfortable nights sleep on the hard mattress we went for breakfast in the Fenchurch lounge as the restaurant was busy and we were turned away. There was the usual array of cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, danish pastries, and bacon, eggs etc. The manager came and took our order for coffee and toast which never arrived until we pointed out we hadn't received them and eventually they turned up better late than never! All in all it was a nice hotel, the views are amazing and it was nice being able to park the car on site.
