Reasons for trip

My husband, brother, sister-in-law and myself visited Middleport Pottery in Middleport, Stoke-on-Trent today. My sister-in-law and myself had a go at throwing a pot it was a wonderful experience which both my sister-in-law and I enjoyed very much. The cost was just £8 each. The potter working there is very helpful to the visitors who visit to throw a pot and is very knowledgeable, polite and friendly. There are small independent shops there selling some beautiful pottery and there is a joinery workshop which sells pine furniture and many other items for the home. Middleport Pottery caters for all age groups and the staff based there are friendly throughout. Before we left we had a delicious meal in the cafe which overlooks the canal. I would definitely recommend a visit to this pottery even if you don’t fancy the idea of throwing your own pot it is a lovely place to visit just to enjoy looking around the shops and having a bite to eat in the cafe.
