We spent three days here in September and had a lovely time. When we checked we were given a very big room with two double beds and the most wonderful views over Lake Windermere. To cap it all we had a sofa to sit on by the window. The food was very good using local produce and service was quite informal compared to some of the Lakes hotel which are a bit stuffy. We got home made sweets with our coffee and had a most enjoyable stay.
