Reasons for trip

This was our second visit to the wonderful happiness factory, anywhere that you can go to make your own bars of chocolate has got to be full of happiness. This lovely shop is is ideal for buying chocolates and ice creams but it’s better still if you do one do the workshops and make 3 bars of chocolate each. You start by tasting the dark, milk and white chocs then all of the toppings that you might want to add to your bars. Once these decisions are made you take your moulds to the tempering machine for the exciting bit, fill the mould with chocolate and add whichever toppings you want, nuts, fruits, wafer, marshmallows, chilli, sea salt etc etc etc. Your creation is taken to the chiller to set, while this is happening enjoy a coffee, hot chocolate or ice cream in their cafe or wander round this fabulous town. Don’t forget to go back to collect your chocs and enjoy discount on anything you buy. A great activity for adults and children at around €12 each.
