This was a family trip to Moscow to visit a place near Moscow, Gorki Leninskiye. Me and my two cousins wanted to visit places where our grandparents and their children lived once. My mother and my cousin’s father were small children then. They saw Lenin, the leader of socialist Russia there, because Lenin and his wife also lived at Gorki. I chose accommodation at hotel Matreshka in Moscow.
Very good location. Station of underground (“metro” in Russian) was very near. Going to the other side of Lubyanka square we found Nikolskaya street, pedestrian street, very nicely decorated. It took us straight to Red Square, the main attraction in Moscow. The hotel is not expensive at all, breakfast is included. Rooms are warm. I can suggest this hotel to anyone who is not looking for expensive ones.
