We absolutely loved our first cruise and have nothing but praise for Marella Cruises.

There were a mix of ages with some passengers travelling in couples and some travelling with friends.

The relaxed atmosphere on the ship put us at ease, although there were opportunities for dressing in your finest outfits if you wanted to.

We were spoilt for choice with a range of restaurants and the food was good quality. There was a buffet too although we preferred the restaurants.

Evening entertainment was good too with a choice of shows, cinema, live music, discos and a casino.

Our top tip for anyone going on their first cruise it to pack a cabin case with a change of clothes for when you arrive on the ship. As it was our first cruise we didn’t realise you could arrive on the ship before your luggage and had to wait for a change of clothes. Luckily we had a lovely cold cocktail to cool us down while we waited,
