The building is lovely, situated just off Deansgate it is also central and handy, I love the ornate plaster work and gilding in these old style theatres, it really adds to the atmosphere. There is ample disabled access and seating areas too which is nice to see. The seats themselves are comfortable and it doesn't feel as crowded as some theatres I have been to in the past. There are 2 bars sited to either side of the theatre, the toilets too are either side, ladies to the right, mens to the left. The drinks and refreshments are the usual theatre prices and are OK. The acoustics were good during the show, which was a 2 person comedy about a couple who lost their way and rediscovered each other after a trip to Paris. All in all, an enjoyable evening.
