What a beautiful little town Ludlow is. The architecture is delightful with wonderful examples ranging across the centuries. The church is an absolute gem and the castle worthy of an hour or two of your time. There are lovely riverside walks which offer amazing views of the town and there is a market most days with changing stalls.
We spent a day at the races. The racecourse is in a magnificent setting just outside town.
Bur best of all is the chance to eat and drink your way around the town with bars, restaurants and pubs to suit every mood. We self catered which is a good idea because the food shops are second to none.
