The venue had horse riding, which was quite expensive, along with the equipment hire of boots and helmet, but a once in a lifetime thing for me, so I took it, and glad I did. I got a beginners hack, for half an hour, through a path with trees either side, mostly. It was wonderful.
The chef deserves his Michelin star status, and catered for my special diet with ease.
The spa was luxurious, and it was the best pool I have e ver been in, especially since no one seemed to want to use it, while I was there. They preferred jacuzzi or lounding.
The treatment I had was a massage, and very well done.
All in all, a fantastic treat.
