We visited this hotel 8 years ago and from what I saw little has changed. I believe they have a new wing which I cannot comment on but our room , up three floors , was tired and a bit grotty. We went this time on a Groupon offer which gave us the 7 course tasting menu . Now I have to say the food was lovely but we sat from 7.30 until 10 pm when we gave up and missed out on the coffee . The courses were so small that despite eating slowly we finished them in minutes so the wait was far too long between courses. Not an experience we want to do again.
