My sister and I stayed at the Losehill Hotel and Spa for three nights and would really recommend it for those who like lovely walks from the hotel door, good food and tasteful accommodation. The hotel is situated at the end of a long lane and overlooks a lovely valley. It is in the Arts and Crafts style and was originally built as a hostel for walkers in the 1920s and has been beautifully renovated. We stayed in a two bedroomed suite. Not much more expensive than a double room and perfect if you want a little more space and privacy. The food was generally good and the service was excellent. The hotel has a small indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi looking over the surrounding hills. This hotel would probably not be my choice for a spa break as the pool is small and the indoor sitting areas limited but it couldn't be better placed to walk up Mam Tor and other lovely walks near Castleton in Derbyshire. You can also visit the Blue John mine nearby. The village is also a nice place for a little browse. We would go again.
