We went to Loro Parque which is in Puerto de la Cruz Tenerife. This place is one you must visit if on holiday in Tenerife. There are whales, dolphins and sea lions, the shows these do are nothing short of spectacular! But a tip, do not sit near the front at the whale show unless you like a good soaking! There are also many other animals there. A beautiful pair of white tigers, many many species of parrots and other birds. If you want to have a meal, there are several places to eat, the whole place is spotless, you will not find any litter anywhere, this place is the most well looked after place I have ever seen. If you want you can have escorted tours which we did, and they are so informative and friendly. All through the walks to each different place there are the most beautiful flowers orchids and the like. This place has been well thought out and everywhere is a pleasure see. I would like to find something wrong with this place but really cannot. If like us a day is not enough you can get a ticket for another day at half price. I highly recommend a visit, you don,t even pay to get there if you are staying in Puerto de la Cruz. There is a lovely little yellow train that goes through all the streets and takes you to the park.
