Dropping down into the valley, you’ll suddenly glimpse giraffe and zebra grazing peacefully and hippos skimming the reeds along the edge of the lake.

An East African landscape, just twenty miles from Bath? Is this possible?

At Longleat Wildlife Park, it certainly is…!! The Marquess of Bath, Alexander Thynn, and his team welcome you to the joys of nature – both local and exotic – with ancient broadleaf woodlands and manicured lawns, meercats and monkeys, lions and tigers.

Feel like solving a puzzle – try finding your way out of the Maze….if cruising is your thing, the Lady of Bath will take you for a leisurely glide around Gorilla Island. Look out for the gorilla’s temple home with a TV aerial on the roof. Bet you didn’t know gorillas enjoy having a 32 inch flat screen TV with Sky Plus!

Younger family and friends will adore the new Monkey Temple and adventure park attractions, and you’ll probably welcome the sumptious interiors of Longleat House, built in 1540, with its Italianate ceilings and majestic artworks.

All in all, a wild day out for everyone….
