London House is run by Ben Piette, a former Masterchef finalist, and his wife Lornette. The food is always seasonal and the menu changes to reflect this. Ben is a fantastic chef and the food is always of an exceptional standard. Lornette is a great hostess and makes everyone feel special. There is only one sitting so there is never any pressure to vacate the table. It is sometimes necessary to book several weeks in advance especially for weekends. The menu is creative and the dishes aren’t always what you would expect. For example , the current menu has Fish finger, which is mackerel, beetroot bread, celery leek choucroute and tartare sauce. There are also imaginative vegetarian dishes and the desserts are a perfect ending to any meal.
