I took part in the London 10K road race yesterday. There were around 13,000 runners of all different abilities – lots of walkers too. The day was very well organised, had plenty of helpful marshals along the way. There was music from soul singers to choirs and steel bands to samba. The atmosphere was lively and friendly. Even if you don’t want to run, the spectators had a ball. I loved it and have already registered for next year.
There were lots of different people from teenagers to old age pensioners who were getting along really well, with the running and the chatting to people! A lovely colourful and friendly event which brought the capital together from all walks of life.
