Reasons for trip

We needed a reasonably priced hotel in Hua Hin and found Loligo in Hotels.com. It’s a small resort a km or so out of the main Hua Hin town and close to the beach but not on it. They run a shuttle bus one way several times a day. Rooms are lovely, spotlessly clean with a view towards the sea, but it’s not directly on the beach. Staff are lovely, so friendly. There’s a small oil with sun beds, and a small spa. Breakfast is a mix of Asian and European food. We walked along the beach from the hotel every day. Close to the hotel a weekends are the Cicada and Tamarind markets with lovely crafts and local food at great prices. Hua Hin has a lovely golf course if this is your interest.
