The Achray Hotel is one of a handful of well appointed hotels owned and presented by Lochs and Glens Holidays. Their properties are almost always beautifully situated close to a stunning loch surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Loch Achray is no excception as my Wife and I discovered during our recent July stay. Guests have a choice of booking their break as a short coach holiday with convenient pick ups from much of the UK or, as we chose, to go as a self drive guest. Once there, all guests are treated to real Scottish hopspitality and some of the finest choices of food to be experienced in the Trossachs. However, the memorable aspect is the really marvellousself-drive value of 2 guests staying for the price of one (a regular deal even ion the high seaspn) including comfortable rooms and waiter served breakfast and dinner. The menu is always very varied and something to everyones taste. The coach holiday comes with included tpurs to places like Glamis Castle, boat trips on Loch Lomond and a full day outing to Edinburgh. With our own transport, we were able to tour as we chose and linger where we pleased. Most guests travel to one of the hotels several times a year or return year after year. A highly recommended company with whom to explore the beauties of Scotland.
