Whole afternoon made very easy, directed to one of the two Disabled spaces, helped by the Volunteer Staff. We had comfortable seats and views of stunning scenery on our return trip. We spent around 20-30 minutes at our destination, time for a cuppa and a roll from the reasonably priced station cafe on the platform.
As it started to rain, and the train was not full, we were advised we could sit in a first class carriage on the way back – a real treat and a reminder of bygone days. Back at Llangollen the sun came out and we took some smashing photographs, treated to the train turning too and got some great video footage.
Again help when we needed to cross the line (I cannot climb the stairs), very efficient and friendly.
All in all a lovely afternoon, relaxing and fun. We will be back.
