Enjoyed a very pleasant 3 night stay at the end of October. It was my second stay at a Warner Hotel but the first time for my cousin. She was so impressed with it that she booked another stay for next year! The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. The food in the main restaurant was good with plenty of choice. The leisure centre has a beautiful warm swimming pool, plus sauna and jacuzzi. It's well worth taking the tour of the house and grounds, which was led by a member of the entertainment team who was very well-informed about the history of the estate. There is a very well-preserved Roman mosaic in the grounds. One or two parts of the main house needed a lick of paint, but this did not detract in any way from the overall enjoyment of our short holiday. The whole hotel is (in my opinion) over-heated, so most people were wearing short-sleeves! It was, however,, mild weather when we visited. The nearest town of Hungerford (3 miles away and a £10 taxi ride) is also worth a visit. Has lots of antique and small, quirky shops. Would recommend this hotel whole-heartedly.
