One of the most famous Christmas Markets in the North, Lincoln boasts more than 250 stalls as well as some fairground rides and a big wheel. You need plenty of stamina to climb the High Street which is cobbled and steep, but once up it, the attraction is well worth the struggle. Wonderful food aromas permeate the atmosphere which is family friendly and lit by lovely decorations. All in the midst and around the Cathedral, which is also illuminated. Try the medieval section for some really different gifts.
