Well, what can we say. A very pleasant experience, nothing to complain about. I`m quite disappointed! Most of the previous reviews say it all, if Stephen and Mary have got to this level already, and they have only been there since February, then the sky's the limit. Regular bus service to the seafront, with stops both directions outside the "Lilac". Breakfasts of various types (they do a mean poached egg), are served with military precision by an attentive waitress, rooms well maintained and cleaned by persons unknown. There is a nice garden where one may partake in tea, with table and chairs supplied, very nice if like us you have good weather. A pleasant surprise from S&M was the tea and cake which we had after arrival, and doing battle with the M25, appreciated! One small point, if you wish to use the internet, then room seven is not within reach, our laptop showed a weak signal and would not connect, not good if you are on business. Parking is fine, with off road parking both front and to the rear of the property.
Room Tip: There all good, nobody complaining. Normal traffic noise from the road. See more room tips. Stayed September 2014, travelled as a couple.
