Reasons for trip

We spent 4 days here as part of our recent tour round Europe and we could not have been more impressed. From the outside hotel looks like its from a bygone age but inside is modern with good decor and comfortable rooms. Location is excellent ,right on the sea front with everything being easily accessible regarding shops, restaurants etc. American style bar serves nice snacks, food at a very reasonable price.Staff here were extremely helpful and friendly, excellent standard of cleanliness, bedding and towels changed daily and lots of complimentary toileteries in bathroom. Free wi-fi and although we never used it a health suite. Hotel does have parking available on request. Breakfast has an extensive variety of food available from cereals, breads, pastries, cakes, fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats & cheeses and unlimited amounts of coffee to your liking. All in all an excellent hotel and one to which we will most definitely return for a longer period to explore more of the area as this has to be one of the most beautiful coastlines with Portofino and Ravello just a short boat or road trip away. Only problem and for us it wasn't, the room on 1st floor we occupied had steps going down to it from the lift and steps from bedroom to bathroom, so may not be suitable for people with mobility problems, cannot say if all rooms/suites are the same on other floors.
