We were visiting friends and visited Lichfield Cathedral. It is a super place,set in lovely grounds with attractive cottages in lovely garden in one corner, and lovely book shop and old houses opposite the Cathedral.

The outside of Cathedral is really attractive, with carvings and gorgeous stained windows. It is a magnificent place with friendly staff who will show you around – also a pleasant shop. You can even book a guided tour of the Cathedral.It is magnificent inside and the evensong with choir was really great. They also do concerts each month.

I would really recommend a visit there. Our friends were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and had the bells pealed for them. It was so romantic and lovely setting for them to celebrate this special anniversary.
