Reasons for trip

A 30-40 minute ‘round the harbour’ boat trip at 7Euro40 for the seniors; 2E80 for Ninos (but we were on the boat before we realised that the Ninos price was for 4-10 years – opps, sorry!). So you get a close up of the merchant ships and cruise liners that happen to be in port, but you don’t leave the harbour for this trip.

They also do a 1.5 hour ’Mer’ trip that claims to ‘cross 18 miles of the littoral of Barcelona’ … I suspect that means 9 miles out and 9 back, or the vessel would be travelling at a fair lick once out of the harbour to cover 36 miles in 1.5 hours, including the time inside the harbour when leaving and entering. Some vessels (not the ones used for the inside-harbour trips) have underwater viewing.

It was obvious that they cut our trip slightly short due to another (not related) boat trying to dock in the harbour ahead of us.
