Las Galleta’s – Spanish meaning “The Biscuits”
It’s the most southerly part of Tenerife and one of the nearest resorts from Reina Sofia Airport. It’s a wonderful little town come fishing village – if you like early morning walk like me you will see the fishermen bringing in their catch from night fishing.
There is a little market right on the beach and you can buy the fish here once it has been cleaned and filleted (by the wives of the fishermen). Last year we bought tuna steaks for 1 Euro each!!!
This is a resort for older couples – teenagers would be bored!! The little town is great and full of shops, restaurants and tapas bars.
You can go whale and dolphin watching and are guaranteed to see them as they live there.
A great little place to visit.
