Reasons for trip

Lanhydrock is one of the Jewels in the National Trust’s crown. Not only is it an interesting house, and wonderful grounds, but it also has a cycle path. You can hire bikes, choose a path according to difficulty, have a drink in the cafe and/or watch the kids on the adventure playground. There are woodland walks within the main grounds, or a lovely walk by a stream out to Respryn and blue bells abound in the Spring. It has it’s own private chapel in the grounds. Morris Men have been known to perform on special occasions. A beautiful house in general, with some fabulous kitchens to explore. A spacious shop, another cafe and restaurant, plus a formal garden at the main site. Plus for those less able, transport is provided up to the main gates. Definitely worth a visit for members or casual visitors. You are free to wander after hours in the greater grounds. Definitely worth a visit for members or casual visitors.
