This charming little hotel overlooking the estuary of the Rance is just five minutes drive from the ferry port but in the quiet and picturesque area of St Sauvin. There are just eleven rooms and if you are not fit you need to ensure that you are not on the top floor – there are 50 stairs and no lift! There is free parking outside the hotel and several excellent restaurants within walking distance. Chantal, who welcomes you, is incredibly helpful and keen to make sure you enjoy your stay. If there is not already a kettle in your room you only have to ask. There is a TV in each room, Wi fi and a hairdryer. There are wonderful coastal walks nearby, boat trips, the market on Tuesdays and Fridays and Intra Muros is within easy walking distance. We met people of all nationalities and age groups staying at the hotel. I hesitated to recommend this hotel because I don’t want to find it is fully booked next time I want to go!
