This has been the most perfect holiday. The maison Tournesol is a beautiful traditional French country cottage lovingly updated with absolutely everything you could need. Truly a home from home. It is set in a tranquil and beautiful acre of country garden, secluded yet accessible to all amenities. The beds were so comfortable and the only sound you hear are the birds singing. We even hear a cuckoo and woodpecker during the day. The garden is like a country woodland with roses around the door and mature fruit trees and flowers. It’s an ideal place to rest and read, or eat al fresco on the lovely BBQ with a bottle of their superb local wine. The house also has a gorgeous log burner to cosy up at night, a library of books and English telly xxx it also has free wifi a computer and printer in fact there is nothing more you could think of that you need. Even a store of four fantastic bicycles lends itself to cycle rides along the nearby Loire. The bedrooms are perfect and I have never slept so well in the comfy beds.There is also a beautiful bath and the bathroom is ensure. I truly don’t want to leave this magical place but I know I’ll be back for sure.
