We travelled to France for the wedding of our friend's daughter and they suggested that this was "our type of hotel" ie quiet, with good rooms, food and service. We took a small suite at 228 Euros per night. The room was spacious and had a seperate loo and a well appointed bathroom, with seperate bath and shower. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. Only concern about the room was no safe and despite many channels on the large TV, no BBC or CNN news. I asked for an iron to tidy up the clothes for the wedding and this was produced, along with a board, very promptly. The hotel has a quiet pool and spa with circa 12 loungers. Breakfast was continental and cost an extra 13 Euros. The restaurent was very popular with local people and was featured on a regional listing. We only used it once. The food was very palatable, but not haute cuisine. There is a bar, but be warned that drinks are fairly expensive. Free internet (and wifi) but no printer, so checking in on line on the last day was not possible. Overall we liked this hotel. The staff tried very hard to please and the location, which was just on the outskirts of Saint-Galmier (a very attractive town/village) suited us very well.
