I chose this hotel online based on price and the fact that it had free WiFi, an essential as we were travelling with our student son. The location was also a draw, although it actually turned out to be further from the centre than I'd imagined, around 20 minutes walk to the centre, over the bridge. We were allocated two rooms right next to reception, and the wifi reception was excellent; the rooms were well decorated in boutique style- lovely big beds, good lighting and great showers, plus a safe, hairdryer and ironing board! Disappointing though, our 'non-smoking' room had definitely recently accomodated smokers. Also the air conditioning wasn't great, and being on the ground floor we couldn't leave the windows open, but thankfully it wasn't too hot and we slept well Breakfast is served in the basement,(reached by a spiral staircase, no lift) which again is clean and bright, with dual wide screen TVs showing pop videos and news We enjoyed the selection of tinned fruits, yoghurts, cereals, DIY toast, plus cold cuts, cheese slices, salad and hot dishes of sausages and scrambled eggs. A variety of teas and coffees meant that we were well set up for the day, and breakfast is served from 7.30 to 10.30, giving lots of time for a lie in if desired! There is a useful luggage room which we made use of on both ends of our stay. All in all a good tourist hotel.
