After an early flight from the UK, where better than to stop for a bite to eat than Barcelona’s most famous food market, La Boqueria.

Easy to find on Las Ramblas, and as much as a tourist spot as a proper working market, the usual warnings of watching your bags apply. We loved the market, it’s packed full of local delicacies and we were spoilt for choice, but also it threw us straight in to our long weekend in Barcelona.

We stopped for drinks and tapas at Bar Boqueria and Quiosc Modern. Would suggest taking a good look around the market before choosing as there were so many options.
