A little difficult to find but a lovely welcome from Madame Rosettte. Very pretty bedrooms with stunning views of the countryside & the Gorge du Verdon. The largest Gorge in Western Europe. Spacious shower. No toiletries or TV. Free WiFi.

Well placed for the famous village of Moustieres-Sainte-Marie, famous for French Faience pottery since mediaeval times, as it still is today. TheLac St. Croix was created in 1974 and gleams in the Provençal sunlight. Boats can be hired by the bridge & for Silversurfers an electric launch is available for exploring the Canyon for a distance of half a mile.

Dinner is not available at La Bastide des Oliviers but there are plenty of eateries within walking distance. Breakfast is included and fairly basic but served in a large Provençal kitchen by the vivacious Proprietress.

There is a pretty little swimming pool available to guests in season.

It has a good a atmosphere and ambiance.
