My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay here at the beginning of June. Had driven past this hotel many times during the years and decided we must book a room before it got modernised.
It is a little dated but it adds to the charm. The staff were very attentive and the best we have ever met in a hotel –
We booked a sea facing room and it was worth the supplement – the weather was not too good at the beginning of our stay but we just enjoyed sitting by the window and looking out at the view – and they provide binoculars! When the drizzle stopped we took the short walk to the beach – and it is very beautiful with sand dunes and a cafe.
I loved the charm of the hotel – there are plenty of public rooms to just sit and relax and take in the view. Breakfast was buffet style but of a high standard and very enjoyable.
There is an indoor pool but quite old and not particularly inviting – the outdoor pool looked better.
Would love to return.
