Reasons for trip

Knaresborough Castle is still standing, well some of it and if you are visiting the picturesque market town of Knaresborough then do make the time to take the castle tour.
It is almost just the castle keep and a few perimeter walls but if you take the tour you will get to see the underground dungeons and the tunnels that spread under the castle yard..the children loved the ghostly tales and the White Lady may just make an appearance if you are very lucky.
