Reasons for trip

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in the sun, and Rhodes in early October seemed to fit the bill!

The Hotel Kipriatis is located in a superb situation right next to the beach. We had opted for a sea view with balcony, and we were glad we’d made that decision because the views were great. Our bedroom was basic but clean and functional, and most importantly, the beds were comfortable! There was a t.v. but no English channels!

The bathroom actually had a bath with shower, which was a bonus.
We had opted for bed and breakfast, which was adequate. It included cereal, bread, cheese, cold meat, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, and cake. You could help yourself to coffee and tea, though these were not the best I’ve tasted!

The hotel had an outdoor pool and a generous amount of sun beds.

I think the location of this hotel appealed to me the most. The shingle beach is a stones throw away, and the old part of Rhodes Town, just twenty minutes walk which was amazing. You could walk via the promenade, which took slightly longer, but walking next to the sea was lovely.

We enjoyed our stay in Rhodes so much that we’ve rebooked the same hotel, and are doing a repeat holiday this October. WE MUST HAVE ENJOYED IT!
