If you are visiting Sheffield and want a no fuss, comfortable hotel at a reasonable price I can recommend Kenwood Hall. We were visiting family on the South West side of the city and this was perfect, located between Abbeydale & Eccleshall Roads, but it would be a good location for any Sheffield trip as it is not far from the centre. Best bit is no hassle with parking. The area is also quiet and has some amazing old Victorian housing. It is used as a conference centre, so it’s large, usually has rooms and the rates are great. There are grounds to walk in, and a small pool, gym, sauna and steam room. The rooms are larger than average. We went to Nether Edge for breakfast and found a lovely quirky cafe with a musical theme – Cafe no.9. Lovely granola, yoghurt and berries for breakfast, and great coffee. If you want a relaxing stay in Sheffield, check out this combination of Kenwood Hall and Cafe no 9.
