For our family this visit contrasted very well with beach and swimming pool time. From Tucans to Orang-utans to Pumas to Alligators. An engaging exotic bird display and a delightful sea lions feeding. The youngsters thoroughly enjoyed tackling the extensive arial ropeway and wanted more than one ride on Bob, the toboggan run. The animals are kept in large enclosures, many with a glass screen viewing point which meant we were inches away from the magnificent black jaguar. We walked over a bridge with very big alligator lying a few feet below. Jungle Park has its own website but a better description is to be found at: www.tenerifeguide.eu/jungle-park/ There is a free bus service to the park, which is about 5 minutes drive out of Los Cristianos. We found it was a long wait to use it on the return. A taxi was not expensive and just outside the main gates. Food bought inside was expensive and we saved a lot by buying our meals beforehand at a supermarket in our resort.
