We visited Joshua’s today for a meal. It’s a place we enjoy visiting because you never feel jammed in! The tables are a decent distance apart, and there are a variety of different seating options. We usually try and sit on the easy chairs, or the sofas which overlook the garden.
The menu is simple. There are meals of the day on a board, which today included soup, vegan option, quiches, pies. On the main menu there are ploughman’s options with lovely cheeses and ham, locally sourced smoked salmon pate, jacket potatoes with various fillings, amongst other choices. There are plentiful home made cakes and biscuits, and a variety of fruit teas and ordinary teas too. The coffee is great there too.
Joshua’s also sells fresh fruit and veg, as well as locally sourced produce.
The gift shop sells lots of original stuff, great for inspiration for Christmas!
A lovely relaxing place to take your mum on a Saturday afternoon!
