A little cafe in hidden Portwrinkle right on the cliff top with a stupendous birds eye view of the beach & coast below. You can enjoy a cream tea or something more substantial sitting outside watching those at play on the beach below. Or look out to the famous Eddystone Lighthouse. Dodman Point, Rame Head & on a clear day all the way to the Lizzard. Sometimes there are Naval vessels practising & on rare occasions a Nuclear Submarine or a tiny fishing boat close in.
There is a garden area which can be reserved. Or a Thatched Gazebo for an evening meal with the family. For those on holiday in this charming little port after a walk along the beach from one end to the other, a take-away can be ordered.
Food is simple. Jerk chicken rice & peas at £7.50 or a special of Fish & chips for £6. Kids meals too. Crab & avocado sandwich or salad £7.95. Good ice creams.
On a beautiful sunny day you could be anywhere in the world (Big Sur California) & on a wild day admire the power of the waves pounding the shores.
