I usually drive to Spain but this year (2020) I decided to fly. I chose jet2.com from East Midlands airport because, although my son is a captain with Easyjet (another very reliable airline), they do not operate from the east midlands.
I have limited mobility and hence requested assistance from jet2.com. I was acknowledged immediately I arrived at East Midlands airport and offered a wheelchair. My cases were moved for me and I received all the help I needed from then on until I was comfortable in my seat, the cabin crew having assisted my wife and I to store our hand luggage in the overhead lockers.
On arrival at Malaga Airport process was reversed and I received help right up to baggage claim. There I was left to my own devices but I believe further help would have been available had I requested it.
I will certainly use Jet2 in the future if I decide to fly again.
