We have just come back from Spain and travelled with Jet2 for the first time. It was a very good experience with them and could not fault the service. We enjoyed our winter break and travelled to a place call Torrox which is near Nerja on the costa del sol. The weather was surprisingly warm (17/18 degrees) but it was quite chilly at night so would advise a good coat and comfortable walking shoes as although Torrox Costa is flat the village is steep with lots of steps. We loved the vibrant red geraniums which stood in stark contrast to the white washed houses and couldn’t believe we could sit outside drinking a glass a wine or a coffee in December away from all the hustle and bustle of traffic/frantic shopping in the UK. Food and beer was quite cheap to buy and we had plenty of lovely lunches out with cafes and restaurants only too willing to offer free internet should you need to contact family. The flight home was slightly delayed but this didn’t worry us as this was not the fault of the airline and we know that other airports/companies were experiencing far worse than us at this busy time. Overall I would recommend this company and can honestly say that we would use them again.
