“Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill”:https://jackastors.com/location-map/9/ is a chain in North America, mainly Canada, and one I had not been to until last year. Heading out to a movie one night, a friend and I decided to go there for dinner first as it is near the theatre. It isn’t somewhere you can’t go hoping to have a conversation as the noise level is quite loud. However, the food was very good.
The restaurant was very busy and I was beginning to wonder if we would get our food in time to be able to make it to the movie, however, it came just in time.
Trying to make a healthy-ish choice, I selected the Mexican chicken bowl which consists of grilled chicken, avocado, pickled red onion, cheddar cheese, black beans, corn, tomatoes, seasoned brown rice, salsa verde, chipotle mayo, honey lime dressing and cilantro. It was quite tasty. Maybe because I’ve been staying home and safe for so long as I write this up I’m getting the hankering for some take out.
