Fanzana is the port for the ferry to Brioni National Park where Tito the President of Yogoslavia had his holiday home .This island was developed by the Austrian Hungarian Empire as a holiday centre to entertain the aristocracy of Europe in the late 19th century and early 20th with its own golf course,zoo and sea based excersize cures. You can now explore the island by tourist train or hire a golf buggy. Many exotic animals can be seen in the zoo These animals were gifts to Tito by world leaders. The weather from April to October is ideal for a holiday at reasonable cost.
